This is a Hidden Object Game with 3 main variations: finding objects in a scene (using a list or silhouettes of the objects), finding one object x number of times, and matching small mosaics of the scene with the big picture. The second and third variations are the most challenging. I personally enjoyed matching the mosaic pieces the most. The main mini game was a series of not particularly hard anagrams.
For a hidden object game, the subject matter is pretty intense. A little girl, Rose, has visions. Her father on the advice of a sadistic psychiatrist, confines her to an asylum. Her mother (the parents are divorced) and her brother, Rose's uncle, who is a detective, believe she has psychic powers. The game revolves around Rose using her powers to help her uncle solve various gruesome murders.
One of the more disturbing aspects of the game was the letters that go back and forth between the divorced parents. A lot of anger that seems a little too real, like maybe somebody was working out their own real life custody battle.
I loved the graphics, very creepy.
The game has a timed and untimed mode. I wimped out and played it untimed, so I don't know what penalties you receive if you don't finish on time.Get more detail about Redrum [Game Download].
